Rios (hand) is tentatively scheduled to resume full contact swings by next week, Andy McCullough of the Kansas City Star reports. Rios has been able to take light, dry swings for the first time since suffering a fractured hand, but remains several steps away from being game-ready. At the current pace, he's set to see his first game within roughly six weeks of enduring the injury. Once he is able to participate in a full game, he'll likely need a week or so of at-bats in the minors to get his timing and rhythm back. This would put him on track for a late-May or early-June return.
