Rickard provided all the offense his team needed in Wednesday's game against the Rays. The outfielder went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in the 3-1 victory.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie is holding his own through the first month of the season, slashing .286/.303/.417. Hitting from the leadoff spot is typically valuable for fantasy purposes, but Rickard hasn't quite benefited from it just yet. The Orioles lineup has been surprisingly unproductive lately, scoring just five runs in their last four games. Also, the 24-year-old sports a 19:3 K:BB which never bodes well for keeping a job as a leadoff hitter. He's a nice young player to keep an eye on in dynasty formats, but other than that, Rickard doesn't hold much value.
