Richard believes he's close to resurfacing in the majors with Pittsburgh. "I'm real happy with where I'm at," Richard told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "I don't think I'm that far away from being a big league option, and that excites me." The plan is for Richard to remain at Pirate City for a couple weeks while the team decides his next step. Most likely, the 31-year-old will report to Triple-A Indianapolis in mid-April to continue his quest back to the big leagues. Given the frailty of the team's starters, Richard will likely find his way to Pittsburgh this summer.
