Richard (2-5) gave up six runs on 10 hits while striking out seven over six innings in a loss to Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Control wasn't an issue for Richard in this one, as he threw 70 of his 95 pitches for strikes without walking a batter. He was, however, inconsistent within the strike zone, elevating several pitches above Austin Hedges' low targets, resulting in hard contact (four doubles). If we go off his recent Jekyll and Hyde game log, the veteran's next start at home against the Diamondbacks should be a gem. Unfortunately, fantasy baseball isn't that easy to predict, so it would be best to leave Richard on the waiver wire until he shows more consistent success.
