RHP Chien Ming Wang opted out of his contract with the Reds. That now makes the 34-year-old right-hander a free agent. He was pitching decently at Triple-A Louisville, compiling a 3.70 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 50/45 K/BB ratio over 119 1/3 innings. He should be able to secure a minor league deal elsewhere.
