Reynolds (elbow) threw 29 pitches in a live batting practice session Friday. Friday's live session marked Reynolds' first since he underwent Tommy John surgery last September. Live batting practice is typically one of the final hurdles a pitcher must clear before heading out for a rehab assignment, and while the team may want to see him throw several sessions, there's at least a chance Reynolds is assigned to an affiliate in the next week or so. The lefty has a career 3.58 ERA and 1.26 WHIP over 153.1 innings.
