The Nationals gave Derek Hill a run in center field for a while, but they've now designated him for assignment and brought back Call. The 28-year-old has batted only .209/.299/.291 across 251 plate appearances in the majors this season but could see regular action in center field while Victor Robles (back) recuperates.
