Massey (back) will be re-evaluated for a potential return following his latest rehab game with Triple-A Omaha on Thursday, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Massey has played three games between Double-A Northwest Arkansas and Omaha, going 3-for-12 with two doubles and a 5:1 K:BB. As long as he comes out of Thursday's contest with no issues, look for him to be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of the Royals' weekend series versus the Mets. Upon his return, Massey is likely to share time at second base with Adam Frazier.
