Faedo (finger) resumed a throwing program Tuesday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

A week ago Faedo underwent a procedure to remove a fingernail on the middle digit of his right hand. He did some plyometric exercises and light tossing Monday before progressing to playing catch Tuesday. The right-hander will continue to ramp things up and might need a short rehab assignment before rejoining the Tigers' rotation.
