Davis (hamstring) resumed baseball activities Thursday, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.

Davis landed on the 10-day injured list July 16, but he was able to resume hitting and throwing Thursday. It's not yet clear when the 27-year-old could return to game action, but he appears to be trending in the right direction.
