Lowe was removed from Saturday's 4-3 win over the Orioles due to a flareup of plantar fasciitis in his left foot, and he will now miss a second straight start. According to Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun, the Rays sent Lowe in for an MRI following the flareup, but he's considered day-to-day and noted Monday that he woke up feeling better than he had a day ago. With Lowe out of the lineup for the series opener against Chicago, Taylor Walls will cover second base and bat ninth for the Rays.
