Leyba will sit Tuesday against the Rays, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

Leyba was in the starting lineup for nine straight games from June 27 through July 7, appearing against both righties and lefties, but it looks as though he's since slipped into a platoon role. Since that run ended, he's started against all four righties the Orioles have faced while sitting against all three lefties, including Tuesday's starter Shane McClanahan. Pat Valaika starts at second base in his absence.
