Tauchman (knee) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Tauchman had been on the injured list with a sprained right knee since June 30, but he appeared in three rehab games and went 2-for-9 with a double, three runs and an RBI. The 30-year-old should compete for playing time in the Giants' outfield now that he's healthy.
