Refsnyder will make a second straight start at first base Sunday against the Orioles, ESPN.com's Wallace Matthews reports.
EDGE Analysis
Refsnyder is a second baseman by trade, but it seems likely that manager Joe Girardi will utilize him primarily at first base going forward, as Mark Teixeira (knee) hit the DL on Saturday and could be at risk of missing the rest of the season. Though he lacks the power typically associated with a corner infield spot, Refsnyder has shown excellent contact and plate discipline in the minors, which could make him an asset near the bottom of the order. He's slated to hit eighth in Sunday's contest.
