With Starlin Castro and Dustin Ackley on hand to give the Yankees a right-handed and left-handed option at second base, Refsnyder's chances of winning a roster spot out of spring training were always considered fairly remote. He remains one of the better prospects in the Yankees' farm system, but it may take an injury for the 25-year-old to get an opportunity with the big club.
