Reds purchased the contract of LHP Zach Duke from Triple-A Louisville. Duke was signed by the Reds in mid-June after he was released by the Nationals. The 30-year-old southpaw excelled in a relief role with Triple-A Louisville, posting a 1.30 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 34/5 K/BB ratio over 27 2/3 innings.
