Reds optioned RHP Curtis Partch to Triple-A Louisville. With Sean Marshall returning to the Reds bullpen on Saturday, Partch become the odd man out. The 27-year-old appeared in three games for the Reds, firing 4 1/3 scoreless innings while posting a 3/3 K/BB ratio. He should get another opportunity with the big league club relatively soon.
