Reds avoided arbitration with RHP Mike Leake by agreeing to a one-year, $5.925 million contract. Leake was arbitration-eligible for the second time. The right-hander bounced back with a nice showing in 2013, putting up a 3.37 ERA over 31 starts. The Reds will again count on him as a key piece of their rotation in 2014.
