Reddick went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and a walk Thursday against Texas. It was still not quite out of reach at 4-0 in hte eighth inning, then Reddick broke things open with his ninth long ball of the year. He's hit safely in five straight games, going 9-for-18 (a cool .500) with three doubles and a homer in that span. We always knew Reddick had power, but the gains he's made this year in plate discipline and batting average are truly impressive. He now has more walks (24) than strikeouts (23) -- something Reddick's never come remotely close to achieving before.
