Reddick (oblique) will likely open the season on the DL, the Bay Area News Group's John Hickey reports. Nothing has officially been announced, but it sounds like Reddick's owners should expect to be without him at the outset of the regular season due to the oblique strain he suffered last week. Ben Zobrist figures to be the Opening Day right fielder, with Eric Sogard getting starts at second base while Reddick is out. In addition to Zobrist, Mark Canha and Craig Gentry are also options to play right field if needed.
