Reddick (oblique) progressed to hitting soft toss Tuesday and there is a chance he will be able to return to game action this weekend, the Bay Area News Group's John Hickey reports. This was his first time hitting soft toss since the injury, and manager Doug Melvin said that if Reddick continues to progress well, he could get into a game this weekend. His status for Opening Day is still unclear.
