Reddick has been scratched from Friday's spring game with an oblique strain, the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports. Oblique problems can be trouble for power hitters since it can rob them of the torque that powers their swing, and Reddick's .186 career ISO is what keeps him above average as a hitter. There's no indication this is a long term worry, but eyebrows should be raised if he misses another game.
