Red Sox recalled RHP Brandon Workman from Triple-A Pawtucket. Workman is starting Wednesday in place of Jon Lester, who was scratched from the outing amid rampant trade speculation. Workman owns a 4.13 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 41/19 K/BB ratio in 52 1/3 innings this season, but he's not a very good fantasy play versus Toronto.
