Red Sox placed LHP Felix Doubront on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to August 10, with a knee injury. Doubront wasn't cleared after a 45-pitch bullpen session Friday, and the Red Sox are attempting to be cautious as he deals with his rookie wall. It's possible he could return when first eligible on August 25. In 22 starts this season, Doubront's posting a 4.70 ERA with 119 strikeouts.
