Red Sox manager John Farrell confirmed Tuesday that the Red Sox are leaning toward Wright for the final rotation spot, Sean McAdam of CSNNE.com reports.

Though it hasn't been made official, Wright seems to have earned the fifth and final rotation spot, setting him up to make his first start of the season Sat., Apr. 9 in Toronto. Given that his second outing may also come against the Blue Jays, it will be tough for Wright to get off to a decent start.
