Red Sox activated RHP Andrew Bailey from the 60-day disabled list. Bailey wound up missing over four months while recovering from reconstructive thumb surgery. He'll be eased back into major league action, starting with a few low-pressure relief appearances. Alfredo Aceves is still Boston's ninth-inning man for the time being.
