Contreras was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kyle Garlick moving to the injured list, Contreras will return to the big leagues once again. He's recorded a .801 OPS in 120 plate appearances since being optioned down in early-August and will provide temporary depth to the Twins' outfield.
