The Giants recalled Stevenson from Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Giants placing both Brandon Crawford (calf) and Mike Yastrzemski (hamstring) on the injured list, San Francisco will bring up Stevenson as one of the reinforcements. The outfielder was acquired from Oakland in the middle of April, and he hit .310/.408/.429 over 49 plate appearances with Sacramento and Triple-A Las Vegas prior to the promotion.
