Evans spent the last several days on the Pirates' taxi squad, but he'll now rejoin the major-league roster after spending nearly a month in the minors. He'll provide additional depth in Pittsburgh's infield while Michael Chavis (elbow) and Ke'Bryan Hayes (hand) are sidelined. Evans has hit .208 with five homers, 22 runs, 16 RBI and a stolen base in 72 big-league games this year.
