McKinstry was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

McKinstry was sent down in mid-August and made 10 appearances with the Triple-A club since then. He slashed .295/.395/.514 with two home runs, a triple, seven runs and five RBI during his minor-league stint but will now rejoin the Dodgers to serve as utility depth.
