Hall was sent to alternate camp in Pawtucket on Tuesday, but he'll return to the major-league club after Zack Godley (elbow) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday. It's unclear whether Hall will work as a starter or reliever while he's on the active roster. The southpaw has struggled to begin the season as he's allowed 14 runs on 11 hits and eight walks while striking out seven over 6.1 innings in three appearances (one start).
