Tice was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays at the end of May but was traded to Atlanta in early June. The right-hander appeared in four games with Triple-A Gwinnett and posted a 2.08 ERA and 0.49 WHIP in 4.1 innings. He should serve mainly as a low-leverage reliever for Atlanta going forward.
