Rays transferred OF Brandon Guyer from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list. It's just a procedural move to clear a spot for Hideki Matsui on the 40-man roster. Guyer is scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery Thursday to repair a torn labrum in his left (non-throwing) shoulder.
