Rays signed RHP Cory Wade to a minor league contract; assigned him to Triple-A Durham. Wade was released by the Cubs last week after allowing 28 hits and 14 earned runs in just 16 innings at Triple-A Iowa. He seems doubtful to climb his way onto the Rays' major league roster at any point this season.
