Rays signed OF Justin Christian to a minor league contract. The deal includes an invitation to major league spring training. The 33-year-old outfielder spent the entire 2013 season at Triple-A Memphis where he slashed .270/.332/.353 with three homers, 29 RBI and 14 thefts in 107 games. He'll function merely as additional organizational depth in the outfield for the Rays.
