Rays reliever Josh Lueke retired all five Red Sox he faced, striking out two of them, on Sunday. After being acquired from the Mariners for John Jaso, Lueke was a disappointment last season, amassing a 5.59 ERA in 42 appearances for Durham and giving up seven runs in 3 1/3 innings in the majors. Perhaps he's in better position to help now; he has allowed one run through seven innings to help his chances of winning a spot as a middle reliever.
