Rays released RHP Cory Wade. Wade posted a quality 2.17 ERA and 33/14 K/BB ratio over 49 2/3 innings with Triple-A Durham, but he apparently wasn't in the Rays' plans. The 30-year-old made 39 appearances with the Yankees last year.
