Rays purchased the contract of RHP J.D. Martin from Triple-A Durham. He'll give the club some length in the bullpen in case Enny Romero's major league debut Sunday doesn't go well. Martin hasn't appeared in the majors since 2010 but posted a 2.75 ERA over 25 starts for Durham this season.
