Rays optioned RHP Jake Odorizzi to Double-A Montgomery. Odorizzi pitched well in a spot start Thursday, allowing one run over five innings. However, with Matt Moore (elbow) return on Tuesday, there was no need to keep him around. He'll be back next month, though.
