Rays manager Joe Maddon said Thursday that Juan Carlos Oviedo is in "jeopardy" of missing the start of the season. Oviedo, who just reported to camp last weekend after a visa issue, threw a simulated game Thursday against live hitters. However, he has yet to appear in a game and the Rays likely want to ease him into things considering that he's still just 18 months removed from Tommy John surgery.
