Rays manager Joe Maddon said Jake Odorizzi will be the team's fifth starter. Odorizzi battled Erik Bedard and Cesar Ramos for the spot, and the right-hander won the job with a strong spring. Ramos will remain with the club as a reliever, while Bedard will be assigned to Triple-A. Despite his prospect status and the fact that he'll pitch for a good team, Odorizzi isn't much more than an AL-only option at this point.
