Rays manager Joe Maddon declared Friday that Jeremy Hellickson (elbow) was ready to rejoin the rotation, and is expected to do so on Tuesday. That coincides with Erik Bedard's next scheduled outing, fueling speculation that the veteran southpaw will be the odd-man out in the rotation once Hellickson does return. Hellickson experienced discomfort in his elbow during his minor league rehab assignment, so fantasy owners should probably take a wait-and-see approach before trusting him in lineups.
