Rays acquired RHP Jake Odorizzi from the Royals in the James Shields trade. Considered one of the Royals' top pitching prospects, Odorizzi went 15-5 with a 3.03 ERA at the minor league level this past season and earned a brief callup in September. He'll likely compete with Alex Cobb and Chris Archer for the final spot in the Rays' starting rotation in spring training.
