Raul Ibanez went 2-for-3 with a solo home run against the Rangers on Tuesday. The 42-year-old went deep for the first time this spring. Ibanez should primarily serve as the DH, but manager Mike Scioscia recently said the veteran could play at first base and left field. Obviously, Albert Pujols and Josh Hamilton man those respective positions and will need a breather from time to time.
