Rangers transferred 1B Mitch Moreland from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list. It's a procedural move to clear a 40-man roster spot for reliever Nate Adcock, who was called up Thursday in the wake of the Joakim Soria trade. Moreland underwent season-ending ankle surgery near the end of June.
