Rangers released RHP Tommy Hanson. The Rangers are hurting for starting pitching at the moment, but Hanson failed to impress this spring by posting a 6.43 ERA and 11/5 K/BB ratio over 14 innings. With his stock at rock bottom, the 27-year-old will attempt to latch on elsewhere.
