Rangers purchased the contract of RHP Kyle McClellan from Triple-A Round Rock. A lat injury in spring training kept McClellan from having a real shot at an Opening Day roster spot, but he's back in the majors now after posting a 2.00 ERA and 11/3 K/BB ratio over nine Triple-A innings. He'll work in middle relief.
