Rangers acquired RHP Miles Mikolas from the Pirates for 1B Chris McGuiness. Mikolas posted a decent 3.25 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 40/17 K/BB ratio in 61 innings of relief this past season for the Padres' Triple-A affiliate. He was traded to the Pirates in late November but is now headed to Texas. The right-hander will compete for a bullpen job.
