Ramos signed a one year, $1.3 million contract with the Angels on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports. Ramos finished the 2014 campaign with a decent stat line, posting a 3.70 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 43 appearances (seven starts) over the course of the season. His fastball saw a significant drop in velocity, however, from 91.1 MPH in 2013 to 90 MPH in 2014. Despite the drop, he posted better numbers in 2014, but struggled with walks (4.24 BB/9). He was traded to the Angels in the offseason, and is expected to be the club's top lefty out of the bullpen in 2015.
