Ramirez (5-5) allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks over six innings in Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Orioles. He also struck out seven and hit a batter.
EDGE Analysis
For the second consecutive start, Ramirez had the misfortune of providing a strong six innings yet walking away without a win. Ramirez has recovered nicely after getting his current Mariners stint off to a rocky start (eight runs on 13 hits over 8.1 innings in his first two appearances), generating four straight quality starts and allowing just a pair of home runs in the 24 innings encompassing that stretch. He'll look to get back in the win column against the Astros early next week.
